README -- describes contents of HEMCO/AEIC2019/v2022-03/2019-monmean folder 21 Mar 2022 GEOS-Chem Support Team geos-chem-support@g.harvard.edu Description: ============================================================================== This folder contains AEIC2019 monthly mean emission files. Please see the "AEIC_2019_technical_note.pdf" (in this folder) for information about how these emissions were prepared. Original (daily) files were obtained from Seb Eastham (seastham@mit.edu). The monthly-mean data files in this folder were created from the daily data files in ../2019 with the following post-procesing steps: (1) Create monthly mean data files from the daily data files using files with scripts/aeic_daily_to_monmean.sh, This script uses the "cdo monmean" command to create monthly mean data. (2) Chunked and deflated the monthly mean data files with nc_chunk,pl using deflation level 1. Files: ============================================================================== AEIC_monmean_2019MM.0.5x0.625.36L.nc -- Data files containing daily AEIC aircraft missions for 2019.
