README -- Contents of v4-26.rvm

Overview:
===============================================================================

This directory structure contains both data and graphical output from 
the 1-year runs using GEOS-CHEM v4-26 with 1997 GEOS-STRAT winds at
both 2 x 2.5 and 4 x 5 resolutions.  These runs were done by Randall Martin 
in 2002.


Features of v4-26:
===============================================================================
- Updated biomass burning emissions from 10/2001 are now the default 
- Updated "chem.dat" w/ new rates based on Tyndall et al 2001 
- Updated timing routines, now can handle any future date past 2001 
- Minor fixes in biogenic acetone routines 
- Lightning NOx doubled from 3 Tg N/yr to 6 Tg N/yr 
- Het chem now implemented for the 7 FAST-J mineral dust size bins
