GEOS-Chem Support Team

This directory contains files related to pre-processing Lana 2011 DMS 
climatology data to produce a netcdf file for use with HEMCO on the native
resolution 1x1 grid. 

Files in this directory include:

1) Four IDL scripts written by Paul Hezel of U. of Washington to regrid the
   Lana 1x1 DMS climatology to a GEOS-Chem grid.
   	- ctm_regridh_nonzero.pro
	- make_lanadms_release.pro
	- copy_rec.pro
	- copy_datainfo.pro

2) One shell script written by E. Lundgren (GEOS-Chem Support Team) to 
   process Lana 2011 raw DMS files to generate a netcdf file input to HEMCO.
   	- LanaDMS_preprocess.sh

3) Tracerinfo.dat file containing name and long name of DMS climatology.
   variable (DMS_OCEAN).

4) Directory containing original Lana 2011 DMS climatology files.
   	  - lana_2011_files
   
5) Lana DMS 4x5 bpch file, created by Paul Hezel using IDL scripts listed
   above, used for datainfo when using the IDL scripts to create 1x1 files.
   	  - DMS_lana.geos.4x5
