This directory is /pub/exchange to anonymous ftp users and
/as/pub/ftp/pub/exchange to local users.

The directory exists for the purpose of exchanging data with people who
do not have local accounts.  Files deposited here by local users logged
in as themselves will be owned by them and can be removed by them.

Files in /pub/exchange are automatically removed as needed to
maintain free space. The present lifetime is 120 days, subject to
change.  Please make specific arrangements to keep files available
longer.
